    II BeforeConnecting the Camera Install the necessary software from the supplied installer CD (see the Install Guide for more information). To ensure that data transfer is not interrupted, be sure the camera battery is fully charged. If in doubt, charge the battery before use or use an EH-Sa or EH-5 AC adapter (available separately).

    Direct USB Connection Connect the camera using the supplied UC-E4 USB cable. Select a USB option. Before connecting the camera to the computer, make sure the correct option is selected for the [USB] item in the camera setup menu (pg. 225). Turn the camera off.
