Removing the rear wheel
- Use a screwdriver as a lever between the drum
and the cover.
-Straighten the split pin and remove the cap.
-Remove the wheel acting on the central fixing
point.
WARNING
-ALWAYS USE NEW SPLIT PINS FOR REFIT-
TING.
Shock absorbers
Removal
To replace the shock absorber you just need to
remove the battery access flap to get and remove
the shock absorber/ frame anchorage nut. Then
remove the shock absorber/engine anchorage
nut.
Refitting
When refitting, tighten the shock absorber/frame anchorage nut and the shock absorber/engine pin at
the prescribed torque.
Locking torques (N*m)
Shock absorber/frame nut torque 20 to 25 Nm Shock absorber/engine pin torque 33 to 41 N·m
