Step Check
1 Check the sensor (buffer path) for proper operation.
1. Enter the Diagnostics Menu.
2. Touch FINISHER TESTS.
3. Touch Sensor Test.
4. Touch Media Path 1.
5. Touch Buffer path.
Does the display on the operator panel change every
time the sensing area of the above sensor is
interrupted or blocked?

3 Check the drive motor (buffer/transport) for proper
operation.

3. Touch Finisher Motor Tests.
