Function: Picture ceases and pausing occurs.
Format: P A
Explanation: If this command is sent to the player while it is in Random Access
Mode, pausing occurs at that position and a blue (or black) screen
appears.

7) STILL
Function: Pausing occurs with picture displayed.
Format: S T
Explanation: If this command is sent to the player when it is in Random Access
Mode, pausing occurs at that position and Still Mode occurs (CAV
& CLV).

NOTE: When a CLV disc is playing without extended 24-bit code (which
includes seconds and frame numbers), the player will execute a
Still but will not execute a Step Forward or Step Reverse.
