4.8 Radar connection

The multifunction display is compatible with
Raymarine Non-HD digital radomes and HD /
SuperHD radar scanners. The scanner is connected
using over SeaTalk

Note:
• New c Series and New e Series displays
(excluding the e7 and e7D) can connect 2
SeaTalk

/ RayNet devices directly to the
display.
• New a Series and the e7 / e7D displays can
connect 1 SeaTalk

the display.
The radar is usually connected via a Raymarine
network switch. On smaller systems (with only one
display and no other digital devices) the radar may
be connected to the display directly.
