Connecting cables

Follow the steps below to connect the cable(s) to your product.
1. Ensure that the vessel's power supply is switched off.
2. Ensure that the device being connected has been installed in accordance with the installation
instructions supplied with that device.
3. Ensuring correct orientation, push cable connectors fully onto the corresponding connectors.
4. Engage any locking mechanism to ensure a secure connection (e.g.: turn locking collars
clockwise until tight, or in the locked position).
5. Ensure any bare ended wire connections are suitably insulated to prevent shorting and corrosion
due to water ingress.

4.2 Axiom Pro / Axiom XL power connection

The power cable must be connected to a 12 or 24 V dc power supply; this can be achieved by
connecting directly to a battery, or via a distribution panel. The product is protected against reverse
polarity.
