MODULATION - This is a stage in which combustion must be controlled in order to
reduce the amount of heat transferred to the thermoconvector liquid (appears
on display as "Mod"). The condition of modulation is obtained if the ambient
temperature reaches that set or if the boiler temperature reaches that
programmed for this size (ERGOFLAM IDRO). At the modulation stage the
product operates at power one regardless of the power programmed.
SAFETY - This stage is entered if the temperature of the fumes exceeds a certain
value. If within a preset time interval the temperature does not come under
control again, the heater cuts out and them locks (appears on display as "SiC").
EXTINGUISHING - This condition can be entered manually (by pressing the
ON/OFF button), automatically (as a result of programming) or due to the factors
of entry into the safety condition persisting. The condition comprises an
initial extinguishing stage in which the flame goes out, the residual heat is
discharged and the fume temperature goes down below a preset value, and a
second stage of final cleaning required to remove residue from the brazier
completely (appears on
LOCKING - After the extinguishing stage that has occurred as a result of
operating errors or safety operations, the LOCKING stage is obtained (appears
on display as "Alt").

In order to get out of the LOCKING stage, press the ON/OFF button on the
control panel for 5 seconds and the system goes to the OFF condition.

This system of extinguishing also permits residue combustion gases to be
expelled from the firebox.
