3. USE OF THE PRODUCT
Before describing in detail the operation of the product, we wish to remind you
that, in using it, you are obliged to observe current national and local
regulations.
For better understanding of the way the product operates, diagrams are
provided, together with a detailed description of the control panel and the
method of programming the product, as well as operations to be performed in
order to light the heater for the first time.
It is very easy to light the ERGOFLAM AIR, after having connected it to the
household mains power supply, by pressing the ON/OFF button.
The ERGOFLAM IDRO is lit in the same way, but this operation may be performed
only after connecting the product to a suitable water system (see our directions
for installation).
It is strictly prohibited, under penalty of the guarantee becoming invalid,
to start ERGOFLAM IDRO without having connected it to a suitable water
system.
i When lighting the heater for the first time, fumes and odours may be
emitted from the painted parts. These problems are intrinsic to the
chemical stabilisation process of the special paint used, and so at this
stage the room must be well-aired.
i You are reminded that the product must operate with the heater door
always closed.
Although the surface temperatures reached by our product are not so
high, we recommend you pay due care and attention when touching
them. In particular, the outer surfaces of the combustion chamber may
get red-hot after intense use.
