The system requires this password to access the system configuration page.

To set a new password
1. Press System on the SMART Business Toolbar, and then select Settings.
The configuration settings menu appears.
2. Click the Administration tab.
The administration page opens.
3. Type your password.
4. Type your new password, and then type it again to confirm it.
5. Click Submit.
Green checkmarks appear to confirm that your new password meets all requirements.

N O T E
If the green checkmarks and the Submit button are grayed-out, either you typed your old
password incorrectly or your new password doesn't meet requirements. Type both your
passwords and click Submit again.
If you forget your password, contact SMART Support (smarttech.com/contactsupport). They will
provide you with a temporary password that enables you to access the administrator pages and
change the temporary password to a unique password.

Configuration settings

You can use the Configuration Settings menu to access and change software and hardware
configuration settings, including your administrator password.

To access the configuration settings menu
1. Press System on the SMART Business Toolbar, and then select Settings.
A Welcome logon screen appears with a password field.
2. Type your administrator password in the password field, and then click Log On.
The Configuration Settings menu appears.
3. Press each tab to access that section's settings.
