OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Starting the Engine

WARNING
Always proceed with the pre-
operation check as described in
the SAFETY INFORMATION sec-
tion prior to operating the vehicle.
Always check the proper oper-
ation of critical controls, safety
features and mechanical compo-
nents before starting. If not done
as specified, severe injury or death
might occur.
Insert key in ignition switch and turn to
ON position.

TURN TO ON POSITION
1. Ignition key
Place the engine stop switch to ON
position.

1. Engine stop switch
2. OFF position
3. ON position
In cold weather, colder than 0°C
(32°F), place choke lever in full choke
position.

FULL CHOKE POSITION
Press the engine start button and hold
until engine starts.
