Throttle position sensor: stuck throttle position sensor is de-
tected.

Throttle angle
• 9–22 (fully closed position)
• 93–106 (fully opened position)
• Check with throttle fully closed.
• Check with throttle fully opened.
• Check for looseness or pinching.
• Check that the sensor is installed in the speci-
fied position.
• Execute the diagnostic mode. (Code No. 01)
• Replace if defective.

TION SENSOR" on page 8-88.

Sidestand switch: a break or disconnection of the blue/yellow
lead of the ECU is detected.

Sidestand switch
• ON (stand retracted)
• OFF (stand extended)
Extend and retract the sidestand.
• Check the coupler for any pins that may be
pulled out.
• Check the locking condition of the coupler.
• If there is a malfunction, repair it and connect
the coupler securely.
• Repair or replace if there is an open or short
circuit.
• Between ECU and blue/yellow lead.
• Execute the diagnostic mode. (Code No. 20)
• Replace if defective.
