A clean boot resets the MC9500-K to the factory default settings. All data in the

(http://www.motorola.com/enterprisemobility/support) and install on the MC9500-K.
To perform a clean boot:

Keypad Replacement

The MC9500-K has interchangeable modular keypads. The modular keypads can be changed in the field as
necessary to support specialized applications.
CAUTION
Do not remove the keypad while the MC9500-K is on. Follow proper Electro-Static Discharge (ESD)
precautions to avoid damage to the device. Proper ESD precautions include, but are not limited to,
working on an ESD mat and ensuring that the operator is properly grounded.
If the MC9500-K is in suspend mode, press the Power button to wake the device. Wait for the MC9500-K to
