4. Make sure your PC terminal program (such as HyperTerminal) is active
and configured to the following values:
— Com Port: (COM1, etc. depending on your computer)
— Baud rate: 9600
— Data bits: 8
— Stop bits: 1
— Flow Control: None
— Parity: None
— Line Feeds with Carriage Returns
5. If the HyperTerminal session is only receiving data, set the "line feeds
with carriage return" option as described below:
a. Select File -> Properties -> Settings -> ASCII Setup -> Send
Line Ends with Line Feeds.
b. Click OK twice.
The HyperTerminal session will now allow you to transmit and receive
data to and from the AP-2000.
6. Make sure the Access Point and the client station both have the same
serial port configuration.
