AP-2000 Connectivity Issues
Access Point will not boot
The Access Point unit shows no activity (LEDs, including power LED, are not
illuminated). Check the following:
1. Make sure the AP-2000 power supply is operating and connected to the
unit correctly.
2. Make sure all cables are connected to the correct ports on the AP-2000.
3. Check your power source.
4. If you are using an Active Ethernet hub, verify that there is a valid power
source applied to the AP-2000.
Serial link does not work
If the Access Point cannot be reached using the serial port interface, check
the following:
1. Make sure you are using the proper serial port cable adapter. The
adapter provided with your kit converts a standard serial port DB-9
connector to the AP-2000 Mini-DIN connector.
2. Check the cable connection between the Access Point and the client
station.
3. Double-check the physical network connections.
