A point of interest (POI) is a location that user
may find useful and interesting. POI locations
are marked on map with special icons.
A-Navi System provides 23 categories of POIs,
such as accommodation, petrol station, res-
taurants, sights, etc. POI of same category
shares the same icon. If you save your own
POI or favorite or address, you can select an
icon for your own.

A-Navi System provides three ways to search
POI: search POI near current position, search
POI in city and search POI by telephone num-
ber.

System will enter "Country Search"
screen(Picture 3.17);
In " Country Search " Screen, the default
country is the recent search country " Ger-
many ". You could touch or to browse
country list and select one among 41 Euro-
pean countries.
