In the event of a rear-end impact, the active
head restraints at front seats automatically
tilt forwards. The head is more effectively
supported by the head restraint and the risk
of injuries caused by hyperextension in the
cervical vertebrae area is reduced.

To move the front seat forward or backward:
1. Pull up and hold the lever located under
the front side of the front seat.
2. Slide the seat to the desired position.
3. Release the lever.

To tilt seatback forward or backward, lift the
lever on the outside of the seat cushion until
the seatback is adjusted to the desired
position.
