The electric window lock button allows you to
lock the rear and passenger window buttons.
With the lock on, the rear and passenger win-
dows can only be operated from the driver's
window control panel.

To open the tailgate, insert the key into the
key slot and turn it counterclockwise. Pull up
the handle above the number plate and lift
the tailgate.
To close tailgate, push it down so it latches
securely.
The tailgate can be locked or unlocked by
central door locking system. See "Central Door
Locking System" in the index.
Make sure your hands and any other body
parts, as well as those of other persons, are
completely away from the tailgate closure
area.
