Preface

The CallPilot 100/150 is a voice messaging product suited for small to medium sized businesses. It
combines the voicemail and call processing features of a large business system into a compact,
easy to use system.

Before you begin

This guide is intended for install technicians. This guide assumes that you have a working
knowledge of the telephone system on which you are installing the CallPilot 100/150.

Text conventions

This guide uses the following text conventions:
angle brackets (< >)
bold Courier text
italic text
plain Courier
text
ıËÊÊ‚ˆÍ
Display font
Underlined display
font
Indicate that you choose the text to enter based on the description inside
the brackets. Do not type the brackets when entering the command.
Example: If the command syntax is
ping <ip_address>
ping 192.32.10.12
Indicates command names and options and text that you need to enter.
Example: Use the
dinfo
Example: Enter
show ip {alerts|routes}
Indicates book titles.
Example: CallPilot Manager Set Up and Operation Guide
Indicates command syntax and system output, for example, prompts
and system messages.
Example:
Set Trap Monitor Filters
Indicates the buttons you press on a telephone.
Example: ≤·°‹
Indicates text prompts that appear on the telephone display.
Example: Group lists? Y
Indicates a label that appears above the display button. You press the
button below this label to perform the action.
Example: Press OK .
