Smooth a layer of oil on the gas-
ket ring (6) of the new engine oil
filter.
•
Insert a new engine oil filter with
the spring turned towards the
ground.
•
Replace the cover (4) screw in
and lock in place the screw (3).

HALVE MAINTENANCE INTERVALS IF
YOU ARE RIDING IN RAINY OR DUSTY
AREAS, ON ROUGH ROADS, OR IF
THE MOTORCYCLE IS USED IN COM-
PETITIONS.
Periodically check the shaft oil level, and
replace it at the intervals recommended
in the scheduled service table.
To carry out the check:
•
Keep the vehicle in a vertical po-
sition, with both wheels resting
on the ground.
•
Unscrew and remove the level
cap.
•

Check that the oil is touching the
hole for the level cap. If the oil is

Appliquer un film d'huile sur la
bague d'étanchéité (6) du nou-
veau filtre à huile moteur.
•
Insérer le nouveau filtre à huile
moteur avec le ressort orienté
vers le bas.
•
Remonter le couvercle (4), vis-
ser et serrer la vis (3).

TRETIEN À LA MOITIÉ DES INTER-
VALLES PRÉVUS SI LE VÉHICULE
EST UTILISÉ DANS DES ZONES PLU-
VIEUSES,
POUSSIÉREUSES,
DES PARCOURS ACCIDENTÉS OU EN
CAS DE CONDUITE SPORTIVE.
Contrôler périodiquement le niveau d'hui-
le dans le cardan et la vidanger aux in-
tervalles prévus dans le tableau d'entre-
tien programmé.
Pour le contrôle :
•
Tenir le véhicule en position ver-
ticale avec les deux roues po-
sées au sol.
•
Dévisser et déposer le bouchon
de niveau.
•
Vérifier que l'huile effleure le
trou du bouchon de niveau. Si
