Locating Your Snap Server on Your Network
Windows Users
Windows 2000 and Me
The Snap Server should automatically appear in My Network Places under
Workgroup if the default setup was accepted during installation. If it does not
appear, follow the steps described here:
On the Start menu, click

In the Search Results window, select

In the Search for Computers dialog

box, enter the server name and
click
Search Now
server name is based on the server
number. For example, a Snap
Server with the server number
30123 would by default be named
SNAP30123.
Wait for the server to appear (you

may need to try again after a few
minutes if you have just turned on
the server).
Double-click the Snap Server icon

to see a folder that represents the
network disk drive(s).
Windows XP
