It is primarily intended as a “what should be ordered with what” guide and provides an overview of the features and functionality of each of the options available.
® SnapServer Configuration Guide 2 SnapServer NAS Systems SnapServer NAS Systems are a complete family of platforms, software solutions and services designed to store and protect data allowing the deployment of “right-sized” storage to various locations within a small to medium business or enterprise. Note: SnapServer Expansion S50 units are sold without drives and contain 8 drive slot blanks. Drives must be ordered in 4-packs. Drives used in the SnapServer Expansion S50 must be obtained from Overland Storage and have SnapServer/SnapServer Expansion S50 Drive Carriers.

Only 1 SAS HBA (included) is required for expansion. Subsequent SnapServer Expansion E2000 JBODs are connected to previously installed SnapServer Expansion E2000 JBOD units in a daisy chain.
