Submenu P-I for progressive HD-SDI Signals

Select the P-I MENU from the SIGNAL MENU with the UP and DOWN keys and enable the menu step
with the PLUS (V+) key.
The P-I MENU for progressive HD-SDI signals shows following operational steps:
SIGNAL
x-Position
y-Position
Pixel
Lines
P-I
Close and save this menu step by pushing the MENU key once.
This feature may be helpful to adjust the processing of de-interlacing regarding to the type of footage.
De-interlacer in p mode. Progressive signals will be not de-interlaced
and displayed in the original 1080 line resolution. Fast processing with
full vertical resolution in each displayed frame.

Note: The p mode is the factory default setup for progressive HD signals

Note: The P-I feature allows to find the best de-interlacing mode for different video formats
and sources. Please use the P mode for film related footage only.
Note: Using the p mode when feeding original P footage to the monitor. This will be selected
automatically when a P-signal is detected.
Note: Using the iFilm mode, the processing needs more time regarding the four field adaptive
de-interlacing. The displayed images may be later as in the other processing modes.
P-I
progressive mode, odd and even builds a frame
high-end de-interlacing, 4 fields builds a frame
De-interlacer in iFilm mode. The odd and even field of a frame build a
frame, processed with adaptive de-interlacing filter, covering four fields.
Slower processing with full vertical resolution in each displayed frame.
