Alignment of LCD Monitors

How to align a TAMUZ monitor

Aligning a TAMUZ monitor with the AAC function is easy to handle.
Follow the procedure described thereafter.

Environment

First; keep an environment with a low lighting and no reflections. The recommendations like EBU or
SMPTE says 8 cd/m
If the alignment happens in a bright lighted area or in an area with a lot of reflections, the AAC feature
will done well, but keep in mind that the measured values are valid for this situation only.

Alignment Setup

Second; prepare the alignment setup.
Place the alignment AAC probe in front of the monitor which should be aligned. Use a adequate
stand, like a microphone pole, to position in the middle of the screen.
Holding by hand may be uncomfortable, regarding the procedure take about 5 to 10 minutes.
Third; connect the AAC probe to the monitors probe port at front or rear.
Please use the connection cable delivered with the AAC probe.

Getting starting the Alignment

Select the AUTO COLOR MENU from the SYSTEMS MENU with the UP and DOWN keys and open the menu
step with the PLUS (V+) key.
Under normal operation conditions this menu is hidden.
