Main Menu
The default mode for clock rate is AUTO, so the interface detects the clock rate from the input signal
automatically. If it's set to a fixed frequency, this clock rate may not correspond to the incoming signal
and the screen will be dark.
Close and save this menu step by pushing the MENU key once.
Submenu HD Output – Mode Search
Select the MODE SEARCH MENU from the INPUTS – FORMAT – HD OUTPUT MENU with the UP and DOWN
keys and open the menu step with the PLUS (V+) key.
The MODE SEARCH MENU shows following operational steps to select a video format:

CRC off
Rate Select
Mode Search
Sync Error
CRC Error
Sync
The default mode for mode search is NORMAL, so the interface detects the input signal automatically
under normal reacting speeds. When set to SLOW, reacting time is longer and glitches within the si-
gnal will be ignored.
Close and save this menu step by pushing the MENU key once.

Note: The Rate Select mode works similar like an external sync switch. Only in AUTO mode
the clock rate will be taken from the incoming signal.
