Enlarging/Reducing Originals with Copy Ratios Set
Independently for X and Y Axes (XY Zoom)
If you set the XY Zoom mode, you can make enlarged or reduced copies with different XY
copy ratios. The available copy ratios are from 25% to 800% when the original is placed on
the platen glass, and from 25% to 400% when the original is placed in the feeder.
■ Manually Specifying the Copy Ratio (XY Zoom)
You can manually specify the XY copy ratios in 1% increments.
NOTE
If you set the copy ratio with the XY Zoom mode, the copy image computed from the original size
and copy ratio is automatically rotated and copied to suit the size of the selected paper.

Press
(Start).
Copying starts.
NOTE
To return the copy ratio to 100%, press "Direct."
To cancel the setting, press "Copy Ratio" A "Other Zoom"A"Zoom Program" A "Cancel," in
this order.
To cancel all settings and return the machine to the Standard mode, press
