Adjusting Exposure and Image Quality

The exposure and image quality can be adjusted when the original is scanned.

You can also change the exposure while printing. (See 'Changing the Copy Exposure During
Printing,' on p. 1-26.)

Adjusting Copy Exposure

You can manually adjust the exposure to the most appropriate level for the original.

Adjusting Exposure and Image Quality

Place your originals, and press "Light" or "Dark."
Move the indicator above "Light" and "Dark" to the left to make the exposure lighter or to
the right to make the exposure darker.
Press
(Start).
Copying starts.
NOTE
To cancel all settings and return the machine to the Standard mode, press
(Reset).
