Function
Reads the potential sensor pattern from the surface
of the drum in the yellow PCU.
1 of 2 sensors (located near the left f-theta lens)
that monitors the temperature in the optics unit. The
results are used in the MUSIC process.

that monitors the temperature in the optics unit.

Detects toner end for magenta toner.

APS1 (a board) holds two original width sensors
under the exposure glass. The detection
combinations of these sensors determine the width

length of the original on the exposure glass
positioned for SEF.
APS3 (a board) holds one original length sensor

paper arrives at the prescribed time.
