2) Close the ADF gradually and stop it just before the point where it closes
with its own weight (just before the hinge becomes unable to retain the
ADF).
3) At this point, if the distance 'A' between the edge of the front cover and
the upper front cover is 20cm or more, perform the hinge spring pressure
aadjustment described next.
2.How to adjust the pressure of hinge spring
a. Hinge (left)
1)Unscrew a screw [1] and detach and pre-reversal solenoid mount [2].

2)Rotate the spring pressure adjusting screw [A] of the hinge to the direction
of the arrow [B] (in a clockwise direction) using a hex wrench 18 times
by 60 degrees (Max. angle to be rotated per time) per time (Shorten the
spring pressure adjusting screw [A] by 2mm).

b. HInge (right)
1) Unscrew a screw [1] and detach the delivery motor clock sensor mount
[2].

2) Rotate the spring pressure adjusting screw [A] of the hinge to the direction
of the arrow [B] (in a clockwise direction) using a hex wrench 18 times
by 60 degrees (Max. angle to be rotated per time) per time (Shorten the
spring pressure adjusting screw [A] by 2mm).
