frame-relay interface-mode

Use this command to set the FR interface mode. Cancel the set-
tings with the no form of this command.
Interface configuration
frame-relay interface-mode {point-to-point | point-to-mult
ipoint}
no frame-relay interface-mode
point-to-point
point-to-multipoint
� It is only applied to ZXR10GAR, ZXR10 ZSR and ZXR10 GER.
� To configure this command, the interface encapsulation mode
has to be configured as FR.
This example describes how to configure interface mode as point-
to-multipoint on interface e1_1/1.1.
ZXR10(config)#interface e1_1/1.1
ZXR10(config-if)#encapsulation frame-relay
ZXR10(config-if)#frame-relay interface-mode point-to-multipoint
encapsulation

frame-relay intf-type

Use this command to set the FR equipment type. Cancel the set-
tings with the no form of this command.
Interface configuration
frame-relay intf-type <equip-type>
no frame-relay intf-type <equip-type>
<equip-type>
� Make sure that frame-relay switching is configured before con-
figure the equipment type to dce or nni.
� It is only applied to ZXR10 GAR and ZXR10 ZSR.
This example describes how to configure equipment type as dce
on the interface e1_1/1.1.
ZXR10(config)#frame-relay switching
ZXR10(config)#interface e1_1/1.1
ZXR10(config-if)#frame-relay intf-type dce
ZXR10(config)#interface e1_1/1.1frame-relay switching

Equipment type name, it can be dce, dte or
nni (the default name is dte)
