Place bearing driving tool D on bearing 3.
Operate the press and drive bearing 3 in until tool D touches thrust
washer 1.

Crankcase bearing - Extraction

Place the crankcase firmly on a press, flywheel side facing up-
wards.
Remove the oil seal ring flywheel side.
Place bearing extraction tool D on bearing 4.
Operate the press, remove bearing 4 and then thrust washer 2, pla-

ced inside the crankcase.

Crankcase bearing - Reassembly

Thoroughly wash the crankcase, thrust washer 2 and bearing 4.
Place the crankcase firmly on a press, flywheel side facing down-
wards.

Assemble thrust washer 2 referring to pin 2a on the crankcase.

Turn the crankcase with the flywheel side facing upwards, and
place it firmly on a press.
Place bearing 4 for the assembly taking care holes 4a are aligned
(see figure).
Operate the press and drive bearing 4 in until tool D reaches its stop.
