Theprinterisfactory-adjustedforfull-sizemediawidth.When
usingmedialessthanfullwidth,itisrecommendedthatyou
adjustthepositionofthepressurearmsoitbecomescentered
withthemedia.Thereby,anevenpressureacrossthemediais
obtained.
Apoorlyadjustedpressurearmmaybedetectedbyaweaker
printoutoneithersideofthemediapath.
Toadjustthepressurearm,proceedasfollows:
·Loosentheknurlednutthatholdsthepressurearm.Movethe
arminwardsoroutwardsuntilthearrowonthetipofthearm
becomescenteredwiththemedia.
Whilemovingthearm,pushatthepartwherethescrewis
situated,notatthetip.Ifthearmishardtomove,liftthe
printheadandpulltheprintheadbracketfreefromthe
magnetinthearm.
·Afterhavingcenteredthearm,lockitbytighteningthenut.
·Remembertoadjustalledgeguidestoo.
