The Intel
Server System R2000SC provides locations and hardware for installing hard drives, CD-
ROM drive, or DVD-ROM drive. The following figure shows the available options:

Server System R2000SC ships with 3.5-inch hard disk drive carrier, and with different
maximum number of hard disk drives, see the table below for details:

Slimline Optical Drive Support
The system has support for a single optical drive. The optical drive is NOT hot-swappable. The
system power must be turned off to insert or remove the slimline optical drive. For instructions on
