Preparing the Wiring

There are four (4) types of wires required: control, video,
power, and alarm. Each section provides the specifications for
the recommended wire.
CAUTION! Installation should only be performed by qualified
service personnel in accordance with the National Electrical
Code or applicable local codes.
8.1

Power

The recommended power cable is a 2-conductor, 14-18 gage
cable, depending on the distance.
