Keyboard, Mouse, and Touch Pad Problems

If the pointer is difficult to control
• Adjust the pointer settings using Control Panel, Mouse.
If the touch pad doesn't work
• Make sure you don't have an external mouse connected to the expansion slice.
• If you just disconnected an external mouse, try exiting and restarting Windows
to make the OmniBook touch pad active again.
• From the Start menu, suspend the OmniBook, then turn it on again without
moving the pointer.
• Reset the OmniBook.
If a PS/2 keyboard and mouse with Y-adapter don't work
• This configuration is not supported.
If you have problems with the touch pad response
• Check the settings in Control Panel, Mouse.
If the keys do not type the characters marked on them (wrong keyboard
layout selected)
• To change the setting in Windows 95, select Control Panel, Keyboard, Language
tab, Properties, Keyboard Layout. Change the selection in the field.
• To effect the change in DOS, you must edit the AUTOEXEC.BAT and
CONFIG.SYS files. To select the British keyboard layout, un-comment (remove
the REM commands) from the lines that activate the British keyboard. To select
the United States 101 keyboard layout, delete the command lines that activate
the British keyboard.
