To connect a battery slice

The enhanced battery slice approximately quadruples the battery life. You can
attach a battery slice to either the OmniBook or to the multimedia expansion slice.
1. From the Start menu, shut down the OmniBook.
2. Close the display and turn over the OmniBook.
3. Slide open the battery connector cover on the bottom of the computer (or the
expansion slice ).
4. Align the catch on the battery with the slot on the rear of OmniBook (or
expansion slice) and slide into place.
5. Push the front part of the computer until it clicks. Avoid excessive pressure.
6. Charge the battery slice before using it the first time, as it may not be fully
charged. (See "To charge a battery slice," following.)
