To charge the OmniBook battery for the first time

The first time you plug in the adapter, let the OmniBook's internal battery charge
completely. Fully charging the internal battery takes 2 to 3 hours if the OmniBook is
off (8 to 10 hours if the OmniBook is on).
The ac adapter is normally warm to the touch whenever it is plugged into an ac
outlet. The OmniBook is normally warm while it's charging. Don't charge it in a
briefcase or other confined space as this may cause the battery to overheat.
Use only the HP adapter model F1434A with this product. Using any other ac
adapter could damage the OmniBook and void your warranty.
1. Connect the power cord to the ac adapter, then plug the power cord into an ac
outlet.
2. Connect the ac adapter to the OmniBook's ac adapter port, as shown. The
battery starts charging automatically and the battery charging light turns orange.
