Getting Comfortable
Starting and Stopping the OmniBook
To turn the OmniBook on and off
The easiest way to start and stop the OmniBook is to use the power button.
However, to save significant power and extend battery life, it is best to stop the
OmniBook by shutting it down (Start menu, Shut Down).
Do not hold down the power button for more than 4 seconds. This can cause the
display to "white out." If this should happen, press the power button again or press
the system-off button to reset the computer. If this white-out is not corrected within
15 minutes or so, it can damage the display.
1. Slide the latches on the sides of the OmniBook forward and lift up the lid.
2. Press the power button to turn on the OmniBook.
