    TD 92319GB Ascom i75 VoWiFi Handset Introduction The Ascom i75 VoWiFi Handset is part of the Ascom VoWiFi system. With the i75 VoWiFi handset you can maintain connectivity to traditional telephone services while remaining mobile around the work environment. This document describes the features and settings available for the i75 VoWiFi Handset.

    User Manual TD 92319GB Ascom i75 VoWiFi Handset Warranty Notification Do not disassemble the handset. Disassembling the handset voids the warranty. The handset consists of no consumer serviceable components. Service should be performed by Authorized Service centre only. Potentially Explosive Atmospheres Turn the handset off when in an area with a potentially explosive atmosphere.

    User Manual TD 92319GB Ascom i75 VoWiFi Handset Display The display is an illuminated 128 x 64 pixels LCD, covered by anti-reflex treated plastic glass for maximum readability. Keypad The keypad is illuminated, which makes it possible to operate the handset in dark environments.

    User Manual TD 92319GB Ascom i75 VoWiFi Handset Accessories Belt Clip, Swivel-type The ordinary belt clip can be replaced with a special swivel-type belt clip adapted to firmly place your handset onto your belt. Leather Casing The leather casing is especially designed for the handset. The casing comes with a swivel- type belt clip and the handset is fully operational while placed in the casing.

    The right soft key can be configured and used when a call is connected, as a short-cut to different functions. These settings are configured by the system administrator and cannot be set manually in the handset. Refer to Configuration Manual, Ascom i75 VoWiFi Handset, TD 92431GB.

    User Manual TD 92319GB Ascom i75 VoWiFi Handset Basic Operation Switch the Handset On/Off On: Press and hold until the handset begins to start-up. Off: Press and hold until the Shut down view opens. Mark “Switch off” and press “Select”. Switch off is displayed until the handset switches off.

    User Manual TD 92319GB Ascom i75 VoWiFi Handset Lock/Unlock the Handset You can protect your IP handset from being used by others by locking it automatically when placed in a charger or switched off. The handset can only be unlocked with a 1 to 4 digit code.

    User Manual TD 92319GB Ascom i75 VoWiFi Handset Push-to-Talk Conference Call Note: The Push-To-Talk function requires a Multi Point Control Unit (MCU), handsets programmed with PTT settings (from the PDM) and that groups have been created in the system. The push-to-talk (PTT) function can be described as a group/conference call. A PTT session can be triggered from the system, by an alarm or by a user that sends an invitation to a PTT group from the handset.

If you do not get in contact with your system, contact your system administrator. For various reasons, some functionality in the system may be inaccessible, causing various status texts to appear.

Place the handset in the charger. A beep indicates connection with the charger. The charging status is shown by the battery icon in the handset display.
