Installing the Falcon
Use only authorized radio cards and antennas supplied by PSC for the Falcon 4620.
Use of unauthorized radios, antennas, or supplies can void the FCC emissions
certification, damage the Falcon 4620, and void your PSC warranty. For the correct
supplies for the Falcon 4620, please refer to the PSC Price Book on

Connect to the Ethernet

Connect the Cat 5 Cable with an RJ45 connector to the 10/100 Ethernet port
(refer to Figure 2 on page

Connect a Mouse

You can install either a USB or PS/2 mouse on the Falcon 4620.

Bare Leads Power Cable

To connect the bare leads power cable to the Falcon 4620, connect the power
cable to the power source with the red wire going to the Positive Terminal, and
the black wire going to the Negative Terminal.
The Falcon 4620 runs on 9-36VDC. It must be stepped down any time the voltage is
any higher then 36VDC using a step down transformer (customer supplied).

Complete the manufacturer's instructions for installation.
To connect a USB mouse, use the USB interface and install the appro-
priate mouse drivers.
