Connect the Keyboard

If you have one of the two industrial grade NEMA 4 keyboards, connect the 9-
pin D-Sub connector directly to the keyboard port.
Use the enclosed required adaptor if you are using the standard PS/2 keyboard.
Refer to "DB-9 to PS/2 Adaptor Cable" on page

Connect the Optional PowerScan Scanner

The PSC PowerScan bar code scanner requires the 12V of power on Pin 9 of
COM1.

RS-232 serial interface with12V power on pin 9 to power a decoded
serial bar code scanner, such as the PSC PowerScan.
COM2 is a RS-232 serial interface connectable to a serial device,
such as a printer or PC.
10/100 Ethernet Port; RJ-45 connector.
DB-9 connector. The Keyboard/Mouse adapter cable is used when
connecting the PS/2 Keyboard and/or external Mouse.
Used to mount the Falcon 4620 onto the computer back plate. The
four outer mounting holes take metric screws, size M6x20. The inner
set of holes are for a VESA mounting pattern.
Insert additional PC Cards here, such as radio cards, flash cards,
hard drives, etc. Screws are M3x6 metric.
Insert the DC power cord here with the arrow on the connector facing
towards you.
SB16 compatible sound port, requires adaptor splitter cable available
as an accessory. (Customer supplied speakers or headphones.)
There are two external USB ports. Use to connect external mouse,
USB CDROM (use only the PSC supplied), or a floppy drive.
