Crosspoint Bay
The Crosspoint Bay is a scalable distributed space-division switch.
The basic card cage (MXSW) has a maximum capacity of 256 inputs and 32 outputs. Multiple MXSWs can be combined to
support up to 8 192 inputs and 1 024 outputs.
The MXSW is composed of the following individual functional modules:
• Card cage
• 16ch Crosspoint Input Board
• 16ch Crosspoint Output Board
Application
An MXSW fully equipped for 256 inputs and 32 outputs contains the following:

• Set switches (SW902 and SW903) on the WJ-PB85C16 Crosspoint Input Boards to designate the board numbers as shown
