Select Enable to enable the onboard floppy controller. The options are Enabled and Disabled.
Selects the type of floppy drive connected to the sys- tem as specified. The options are Disabled,
360KB 5 1/4", 1.2MB 5 1/4", 720KB 3 1/2", 1.44MB 3 1/2" and 2.88MB 3 1/2". The default
setting for Floppy A is 1.44MB 3 1/2", and for Floppy B is Disabled.
This option specifies the base I/O port address and the Interrupt Request address of Serial Port 1
and Serial Port 2. Select Disabled to prevent the serial port from accessing any system resources.
When this option is set to Disabled, the serial port physically becomes unavailable. Select
3F8/IRQ4 to allow the serial port to use 3F8 as its I/O port address and IRQ 4 for the interrupt
address. The options for Serial Port1 are Disabled, 3F8/IRQ4, 3E8/IRQ4, 2E8/IRQ3. The options
for Serial Port2 are Disabled, 2F8/IRQ3, 3E8/IRQ4, and 2E8/IRQ3.
Configures Serial Port 2 mode. The options are Normal, IrDA and ASK IR. IrDA (Infrared Data)
is an industry standard for remote control de- vices. ASK IR (Amplitude Shifted Keying Infrared)
is a protocol compatible with Sharp PDAs and other infrared devices.
