FOX Extenders Control Program
The Extron FOX Extenders Control Program, which communicates with the FOX DA8 Plus via
the rear panel RS-232 port or front panel Configuration port of the unit, provides an easy
way to control the DA mute function and set reclocker rates for the inputs.
The program is compatible with Windows
operating systems. Updates to this program can be downloaded from the Extron website
(www.extron.com).

Installing the Software

The program is contained on the Extron Software Products DVD. Install the software as
follows:

Insert the DVD into the drive. The Extron software DVD window should open
automatically (see figure 6). If it does not self-open, run

Follow the on-screen instructions. By default, the Windows installation creates a
C:\Program Files\Extron\FOX_Extenders directory, and it places the following four icons
into a group folder named Extron Electronics\FOX Extenders:
