F A battery is provided on the central processing unit (CPU) in the KSU. This battery retains

• Incoming Ring Mode for Single Line Telephones (when connected via the ADA-UA unit)
• LCD Contrast (DTU-Type telephones only)

• Room Monitor
• Speed Dial Entries (Telephone/System)

Status condition is not retained for the following:
• Automatic Callback
• Trunk Queuing
• Off-hook
• Automatic Redial

A low battery LCD indication will appear on Multiline terminal Ports 1 and 2 when the
litium battery is low.
Memory switch SW1 should be set to CLEAR when data is not required to be saved for
storage purposes. This will prolong the life of the lithium battery.
