Each of the five hunt groups are assigned a hunt group pilot number (10, 20, 30, 40,
or 50). Telephones are grouped together and assigned to one of the hunt groups. The
extension numbers in each hunt group must be assigned consecutive extension
numbers. For example, extensions in hunt group 10 are assigned numbers 10 → 19.
Hunt groups can be assigned independently of tenant groups.
When a telephone in the hunt group is set for call forwarding, that telephone is skipped
during extension hunting.
