Alarm Lamp Flashes Orange
Five flashes:
Print Head is not installed./Print Head is
defective.
Six flashes:
The paper is not loaded on the Manual
Feed Slot of the Front Tray properly.
Seven flashes:
Ink tank is not installed in the correct
position.
Eight flashes:
Ink absorber is almost full.
Ten flashes:
The Cassette is not installed properly./
Cannot perform duplex printing.
Eleven flashes:
Automatic Print Head alignment failed./
The Paper Feed Roller is dirty./The

size of the paper loaded in the printer.

Then printing can continue. Replacing the clear ink tank
is recommended after the printing.
If the clear ink runs out, you will not be able to print on
plain paper.
Ink may have run out (The lamp on the ink tank flashes).
If printing is in progress, you are recommended to stop
printing, replace the ink tank, and then print again.
Routine Maintenance
If printing is in progress and you want to continue
printing, press the printer's
Then printing can continue. Replacing the ink tank is
recommended after the printing. The printer may be
damaged if printing is continued under the ink out
condition.
Note
If multiple ink lamps are flashing, refer to
Maintenance and confirm the status of each ink
tank.
Follow the directions given in your setup manual to install the
Print Head.
If the Print Head is already installed, remove the Print Head
once and then reinstall it.
If the error is still not resolved, the Print Head may be
damaged. Contact the service center.
Reload the paper on the Manual Feed Slot of the Front Tray
properly, then press the RESUME/CANCEL
Some ink tanks are not installed in the correct position.
(The lamps on the ink tanks flash.)
More than one ink tanks of the same color are installed.
(The lamps on the ink tanks flash.)
Confirm that the ink tanks are installed in the appropriate
positions.
Routine Maintenance
The ink absorber is almost full.
Press the printer's RESUME/CANCEL
printing. Contact the service center.
When loading from the Cassette, install the Cassette
properly and press the RESUME/CANCEL
When performing automatic duplex printing, the size of
paper may not be compatible with automatic duplex
printing. The sizes of media suitable for auto duplex
printing are A3, Regal, 11" x 17" (Tabloid), B4, A4, Letter,
10" x 12", 8" x 10", B5, and A5". Make sure that the size of
the paper loaded in the printer is correct. Pressing the
RESUME/CANCEL button will eject the paper and restart
printing from the front side of the next paper. The reverse
side of the ejected sheet will not be printed.
When performing Automatic Print Head Alignment:
Print Head nozzles are clogged.
RESUME/CANCEL
Press the
and print the nozzle check pattern to check the status of
the Print Head.
Routine Maintenance
Paper of size other than A4 or Letter is loaded in the Rear
Tray.
