DP-CL18
3.6.7.
EEPROM Interface
The EEPROM (IC7) is for storing the printing count numbers, actual data of consumable, user setting data, etc. The EEPROM
accessing request from the CPU (IC6) is sent to the EEPROM IF module through the IC15 internal bus and the EEPROM IF
module controls the SO-DIMM internal EEPROM and IC6 (EEPROM). The EEPROM is controlled by the serial interface consists
of serial clock (SCL) and serial data (SDA). The EEPROM in the SO-DIMM stores the information regarding the SO-DIMM access
timing. This information is read using the EEPROM IF module in IC15, too.
When the reading/writing operation is completed, IC15 sent to the interruption signal the CPU. If the EEPROM reading request is
performed, the CPU reads the data from the EEPROM IF module while the interruption.
