NOTICE
1
Operating the engine without the air filter, or with damaged air filter,
will allow dirt to enter the engine, causing rapid engine wear. This
type of damage is not covered by the Distributor's Limited
Warranty.
AIR FILTER CLEANING
A dirty air filter will restrict air flow to the carburetor, reducing engine
performance. If you operate the tiller in very dusty areas, clean the
air filter more frequently than specified in the
Maintenance Schedule.
1. Remove the wing nut and air cleaner cover.
2. Remove the wing nut and grommet, and air filter elements and
separate them.
3. Carefully check both filter elements for holes or tears and replace
if necessary.
