Transferring data to and from handsets

Data cannot be transferred to or from a handset during an open connec-

tion (e.g. Internet or telephone call).

Close any such calls first.
Data is transferred to or from a handset only when initiated by the Receive or Send
commands.
Data transfer always applies to entire directories. The direct transfer of individual direc-
tory entries is not possible.
This method ensures reliable and full updating of handset directories or their mappings
in talk&surf.
During the transfer of large directory files between the PC and handsets
it is possible in some cases (depending on the size of the PC's RAM) that

the system reports an error.
