Configuring the base station
Registering a Bluetooth PC or Bluetooth PDA
Only available for Gigaset SX3x3isdn.
ì
Double-click Configuration in Folder List.
This displays the dialogues available.
ì
Click register.
This opens the Register cordless devices tab.
ì
Click Bluetooth PC/PDA.
This activates the base station's readiness for registration. The Register dialogue
shows the remaining duration of readiness for registration (maximum 60 seconds)
in a progress bar.

Launch the registration procedure with the PC or PDA.
You will find a detailed description of the registration procedure in the

operating instructions of your PC (Bluetooth adapter) or PDA.
After successful registration, the Bluetooth connection name for the registered
device will be displayed.
ì
You can change the Bluetooth connection name if you want.
The maximum length of the Bluetooth connection name is 16 characters.
ì
Confirm successful registration with OK.
This activates the Bluetooth connection between your base station and the PC or
PDA. The device appears in the device list of the Bluetooth devices tab in the DECT
devices dialogue.
